As we don't have old GB, ENG, SCOT, CYMRU, NI number plate on the rear of the car and Eriba.

I'm not happy as I'd already put the GB with flag sticker on my number plates. This was after Dear Doris had changed his mind but failed to let us know it should be UK and not GB.

I don't think the local Gendarme / Caribinieri is going to be that fussed tbh. Will stick with my GB till it falls off.

There is a difference betweeen Great Britain and the United Kingdom, of course. The former is just England, Scotland and Wales whereas the latter includes Northern Ireland. I wouldn't dare to suggest that this is simply more 'politicing' over the status of Northern Ireland....

I’ve just been in today to get number plates made up for one of the daughters cars. They advised that they weren’t putting on the UK badge as it may change, their equipment will no longer allow the GB badge to be put on. So plain number plates have been made, if she needs to go abroad she will have to buy whatever sticker is advised at the time.
Watch this space, it would appear that nothing is yet settled, at least as far as the people making the plates know 🤔
