Mmmm.
I run a 1.5 petrol DSG Karoq and like the 1.6 diesel it too has a towing limit of 1500kg, the 2 litre diesel can pull 2000kg.
I'm not so sure your other weights are correct though, as most cars of that sort of size have a 600kg payload and 200kg is just two slim young adults, which might be OK for a 2 seater sports car but it certainly isn't for a mid range SUV style like a Karoq.
HJ lists my model with a kerbweight of 1318kg and a Gross Weight of 2050kg which means a payload of 732kg
They also list the 1.6 diesel DSG as having a 1366kg kerbweight and 1962kg Gross Weight, giving a 596kg payload.
The kerbweight you can't really check, except if you have Karoq brochures from 2018, but the gross weight is on the VIN sticker at the bottom left of the driver's door shut. Whatever the Gross Weight turns out to be the kerbweight will be circa 1350kg or so and as the Gross Weight of all of them is around 2o00kg you can count on about 600kg or so.
The heaviest Trolls now have a 1400kg MTPLM, with a cost option MTPLM increase from the 1300kg standard MTPLM. Back around 2000 Troll MTPLM's were 1000kg and the payload element was a bit over 100kg and there was no option to increase the weight. During the noughties the standard MTPLM became 1200kg with the option to increase to 1300kg. In 2010 when production commenced in Germany the vans had been redesigned and were taller and the Trolls 4ins wider. This made them heavier and an MTPLM of 1300kg became standard, with the 1400kg as an option.
All should be easily towed by both a 1.5 petrol or 1.6 diesel Karoq.
