Fixed gas regulator

Hi I have recently bought a Triton 430 (2005). The gas has stopped flowing and it has been suggested that the regulator is blocked and needs replacing. Is this a straightforward task and any idea if the gas piping on Eriba's is 10 or 8 mm

Thanks
Stanley

Hello Stanley,

If you recently bought the Triton from a dealer you should be able to get the gas fault fixed under warranty.

If bought privately it would be prudent to get the system repaired and tested by a local dealer, workshop or mobile engineer.

Gas pipe size: if an 8mm open-ended spanner fits the pipe's diameter, it's 8mm - if it won't fit, it's 10mm

Hi JohnE
Thanks for that. Had a quote of £60 for fitting plus the cost of the regulator. Will try to get this covered in the warranty from the dealer.
