I only appear to have one at each end and it looks like there should be 2?

I thought there was only one at each end.

There are 2 sets of lugs at each end so I thought they should both have springs on and my attention was drawn to it because one end dipped slightly.

I have two springs at each end of my 2007 Triton 430. 4 in total.

At a guess I would think that smaller roofs need only 1 spring and the larger roofs need 2.

Back to the original poster, williamte, which model eriba do you have?

As you are having trouble with the roof lifting, you could probably fit an appropriate spring yourself, not necessarily a genuine (expensive) Hymer one.

Older Troll two springs at each end. One on top of each scissors hinge and one on bottom.
