hi. did something really silly and disconnected the van but drove off with the electrics still attached! idiot!!

the car side is ok, ive had that tested but the vsn side is a different matter.

on inspection i have pulled 6 wires out in the under chassis distribution box. they are simple clips that slide in. in a plastic connection box.

i cant find a pic anywhere.

the eriba is a 2006 troll 540. can anyone help with a picture or coloured diagram ?

Hope this helps, Robert

Road Lights:

Green --------------- Green wire for RH Indicator.
Brown --------------- Brown wire for RH Tail (and may have a blue wire from thin 2-core cable for the front & side marker lights)
Red ------------------ Red wire for brake lights.

Fridge & Schaudt Booster:

There are two thick white 3-core cables which enter the JB from the rear, one is for the booster and the other for the fridge relay, which should be marked with coloured tape at each end (1 x yellow, 1 x white) although I've seen blue tape on the fridge cable before now!
If not marked, you may have to follow the cables back to the BIP unit area, where they appear above floor level.

Orange --------------- Both 3-core cables, Blue wires --------------- Permanent 12V from towcar
Grey ------------------ Both 3-core cables, Black wires -------------- Switched12V from towcar
Black/white --------- 3-core cable marked white, Brown wire ----- Earth from towcar
White/red ----------- 3-core cable marked yellow, Brown wire ---- Earth from towcar

...this has the tow wiring details, but i wish it had the distribution box wiring.

There is no specific wiring diagram for the JB - it is simply a means of connecting the 13-way towbar cable to the road lights and to the suplimentary circuits for the fridge and battery charging in the caravan.

Road Light Wires - Green, Brown & Red:

The colours of these wires are usually the same colours as those in the 13-way cable.

If they don't match the colours in the 13-way cable then you'll need to look in the rear light clusters to determine what colours have been used.

Their connections are shown in the table I produced for you earlier.
