OK Roger, I cannot hold back any longer. I've been polite and restrained as we all like different things. But after looking at your link, and going back to the configurator I can no longer contain myself.

Why on earth would you want to put shiny polished wheel arches on a caravan? As my dear late dad would have said, "Somebody needs their bumps feeling"

Well, i’m all in. I think the 2023 models look fantastic - shiny bells and whistles, built in DAB and TV, and a loo roll holder, its all too irresistible. Cameron at Leisure First has a demonstrator coming in the next few weeks so we can all go down there and “feel the quality” - madam. £400 gets you a build slot and ready for delivery next spring. Happy days indeed.

As we have limited WIFI I'm not able to get a closer look at it but the thing that is immediately noticeable is that it no longer has an upturned Eriba backside.

I just hope that they haven't moved the rear steadies back as the Snoozers said and it was demonstrated when they caught the return ferry from France last month, that on the "Eriba Future" they are prone to drag on the ferry drawbridge.

Probably some Yank's idea of acknowledging the brand's conservative heritage. Think '50's chrome everything US cars.

Having previously had a 2009 French build 530 and comparing to our newGerman build 530 the difference in quality is far more noticeable on the German build. Really pleased with te quity of the new 530

I wonder if the chrome is chromed plastic or metal underneath.

I'm guessing it is over plastic, if not and it's on metal, I suppose the difference would be tacky bling and cheap against bling and expensive.

If it's on metal at least it wouldn't discolour, but would probably rust instead.

OMG chrome rear lights and wheel spats. And a return to flat overhead locker doors. Not for me... probably one for people able to afford the latest batch of German cars that have adopted the American trend for huge, massively chromed radiators.

I'm not a fan... harrrrumph

Pros: I like the big fridge

Cons: Everything else.

As for jackson Pollock worktops... as a designer by training I can't believe all the hideous styling features (the lamps!!) and the weird colour juxtapositions - white toilet and black basin... Why? Why no microwave built in? I'd ditch the Truma heater for a microwave any day...

Ah well, it just makes older Eribas look even more attractive...
