Several of our overhead cupboards won’t stay closed in transit. I ordered what I thought would be a near enough direct replacement from Leisure shop direct. The front bit that goes on the door is an exact swap out but the back bit with the rollers needs setting back further. Problem is the wood’s not thick enough. Now Neil can probably add some wood behind to thicken the mounting point but is there a direct replacement for the catches that would save this? Google isn’t my friend here but that may be me, not the most computer savvy person.

Ah - that's nasty. It looks like the rollers are enclosed in the body of the catch making it much shorter front to back.
Something like that may be available somewhere - not been able to find anything identical though.
I've just had to replace the peg and roller catches on the kitchen drawer in my 04 Troll - but they were the ones like those you have bought.
I wonder if it would be better to just replace it with the roller catch they used on later vans https://camperinteriors.co.uk/products/n...ant=30310156484

The original catches are made by Fawo in Germany. They're double roller catches. You can get them, but not without a bit of work, I reckon.
I bought several from Jandi a few years back when there still was a Jandi :-(
There are similar ones on Amazon, but they are similar, not the same.
The dimensions are on there. Take one of yours off and measure it - if it's more or less the same size, at seven quid for four it's probably worth a punt.
I found a couple of places that do sell the originals; here and here. Obvious snag is that they're in Yerp rather than here, so postage might be prohibitive.
I haven't checked to see.
There's a company called Hafele who used to sell them on their American website so I think I might give Hafele UK a ring or mail them and see if they can help.
This is the product page on Hafele US for reference.
They aren't very expensive, but that's scant consolation if you can't actually get any.
You could always try the usual suspects in Poole, of course...

Thanks for your help guys.
I tried the usual suspects in Poole Pete, they directed me to Leisureshopdirect direct!,
Neil has made the others fit by putting a block of wood behind the frame and then screwing into that. He’s only replaced the couple that won’t stay closed, he’ll keep the rest until those catches fail.
The loss of Jandi is realised at times like this, if Jean hadn’t got what you wanted she’d have had a damn good going at finding it for you.

Anybody need a replacement catch?
I've got some, if you need one. Or two, or three, or four...
The catch body is a little bit narrower than the Fawo originals, as you can see on the photos, but because the mounting screws are countersunk and put in with a not unfamiliar degree of imprecision at the factory, the new ones should fit.
I can't guarantee it, of course, but I did two on our Troll and both work just fine.
I didn't change the original tang (the male part) on the door because that bit wasn't broken and it fits the new catch.
The replacements I've got come with a new tang if you do want to change that too, though they are a couple of millimetres narrower than the OEM ones and will need new mounting holes. I've probably replaced half a dozen of the original catch bodies over the years with new ones from Jandi, but Jandi are no more and they're quite difficult and/or expensive to source elsewhere.
I've never had to replace a tang. If the catch rollers are intact but the catch is stiff (or loose, for that matter), it's quite easy to rectify - all you need do is either close the end of the tang a whisker by squeezing it gently with a pair of pliers, or if it's loose, open the end out a bit.
Anyway, if you want one or more, let me know. You can have them for the cost of postage plus a quid a pop.
I don't know how much it'd cost to send them because I haven't weighed one (mainly because the Royal Mail online postage checker is a Royal Pain in the arse) but I will if anybody wants one.
I've got quite a few.
Like ninety-odd.
Don't ask...
