They are all expensive now, I used the configuration tool and my Familia 320 would cost just short of £30k to replace and that’s not including the motor mover (add an extra 2k)

Given the state of the economy now is not really the time to be pushing prices upward. Maybe that's why Wandahome dropped the range, on the basis that they couldn't see themselves selling many at those prices.

I still think we had the best deal.
We gave AL £7500 for our Troll 13 years ago and it's still going strong with tens of thousands of miles on the clock

If we got a new van, you could be sure as eggs is eggs Yann would drive it into a signpost and I would set it alight cooking. Like Roger, we are more than happy with our little Betty. The new vans are beautiful but not for us.

Is that an analogue or digital clock Roger, or maybe just a figurative one?

Good thought Roger, that sun dial stone plinth plays hell with the noseweight.
Wouldn't a Time Vortex mean you'd need a new flux capacitor? Mind, you've room in your ex washroom if you swap out the crawl processor.

Boys, I think you all have too much time on your hands. Have you wrapped all the presents and written all the cards. Done the shopping and got the sprouts on?
If youv’e been very good boys this year Santa may bring you a nice new shiny Eriba or failing that a Flux capacitor, see, now you’ve got me at it 😁

No I don't think it'll be necessary if I use the Vortex used by The Doctor, as the colour sequence in the Vortex will give me position and direction. Red for foreward and blue for reverse.
I suppose I could fit a capacitor in the washroom however as a back up using my sonic screwdriver which is, by the way, great for keeping the washroom door fixed. As for fitting a quasi DeLorean part into the van though, I'd be a bit worried about reliability.

No need to worry Julie. Just travel back down the Vortex by a couple of months to get Xmas sorted or better still travel foreward a month and miss it altogether.
