Im a little worried now. I discovered the marks on the waist rail just before we went away to Lancashire for a few days (heartily recommend Brickhouse Touring site at Chipping). Anyway to cut a long story short, we had some very heavy rain on the Friday night and travelling home on the Saturday and the orange/red staining is nearly gone. What is in the rain that shifts marks that meths wouldn't move?
