Hello all.!

I have read a couple of posts on here, and get the impression that people are not to keen on rear mounted bike racks....!

But my circumstances dictate, that if I wanted to take any bikes with me, I will need one..................

Sooooooo........ Do any of you good people know which ones will fit an Eriba Puck? Make, model etc, etc..

Thanks in advance.

Cheers mate, had already seen that, but I cannot put inside, as already full. Cannot use the witter, or equivalent, tow bar mounted one as I have a swan neck bar.

So I need the rear mounted one, like hob removed.

2 things to consider

1 it spoils the view from the rear window
2 it stops you opening the rear window

Not sure one like mine would fit a puck.

I hear what you are saying mate, but needs must...!

I have 3 kids mate, 2 of which are permanently on their bikes, and sulk when camping and no bikes. Along with all the camping gear for a family of 5, and a wheelchair for my daughter, you get the idea...........

So looks and the opening of a window, went out of the window, a long time ago......(pardon the pun)

But on a positive note it is very easy and quick to remove from van thereby allowing view and window opening

Hi Dave (Psycho).
I'm no expert on these things but it is possible to fit a rear bike rack to an Eriba Puck as the photo I took of a French Puck shows.

It would appear that Omnistor sell a range of different models and also provide a special mounting bracket for Eribas as the links show.

I would give your local stockist a ring and start from there.
Good Luck

If just 2 kids bikes, will they go on a rack on the rear door of your T4? I know you have the gas locker protruding but if small bikes they might clear it if they could sit high up?

Hiya

Did you get a bike rack as I have just taken one off my newly purchased Troll and was going to stick it on Gumtree for £65.....

That looks great!
Such a simple solution, it's strange that it has taken so long for such a fitting to become available.

I think I would want a rather better latch and lock on that rear door!

It's a neat idea and job though isn't it? The Eriba steel framework looks like it's just in the right position to allow the cutting.
