Small window above cooker on my 530 has broken at the top along the aluminium strip. I think it must have been like it when I bought it. Any ideas for replacement ?

Thanks

Mike

I'm a bit confused Mike for I thought you had an Eribacar, unless of course the Eribacar is a 530? I imagine the windows would be the same anyway.
We know of a lady who experienced a broken window on her1980 Triton who appoached Jandi who help her enormously. However her insurance company took the van away and proceeded to get one measured up and made by a specialist company. Sorry don't have any more details but there are such companies around.
And as Pop540 suggested there are caravan breakers to look at. One of the biggest are http://www.caravanbreakers.net/ but they are a long way from Corby.
Hope that's of some help to you.
By the way, did you get the wiring diagrams for the Eribacar OK?

Yes it is an Eriba-car 530. I had a look at breakers and bespoke manufacturers, quite expensive. I remembered back in the day during apprenticeship we used to weld perspex with chloroform. Contacted local acrylic workshop and he gave me a small amount of acrylic fusion solution. Worked a treat.

Interestingly I had done a temporary fix with a good quality translucent sealant. It was a devil of job to get it apart again.

Well done! I do like a bit of initiative and improvisation, adapt, improvise, overcome
