Aha, Coolio, in that case, I use polish and wax, a good polish will cut back the finish and remove some old faded paint. I would expect most caravans to have one side or a back and front slightly faded (because of storage placement and the effect of the weather, not always the sun). My current polish is Meguiars Ultimate (photo attached) if you do use this, DO NOT LET IT DRY! rub it off while its still wet.

And my current polishes are Harly (love it) and Collinite (harder work but longer lasting finish).

I would'nt use the 303 personally. You may be able to BUT I have no experience of using that on plastics, just being honest.

If you have any little tar spots on your fairings, Brasso, Duraglit will remove them

no tar spots just looks dull, washed t'other day

was using Meguiars 2 and 3 plus the tinned gold class on sides which has made it gleam (farecela on roof hard stuff to remove once on, but makes nice job) but wasn't sure if meguiars had any uv protect in, didn't want to accelerate degrade of top layer

They will, but they are both abrasive.

A bit of white spirit on a rag will also get tar spots off.

I have used Farecla but found it difficult! The Meguiars Ultimate was really good on the roof with my new machine polisher, but I had to go over the finish with a couple of coats at least of Harly and then I think I Collinite'd it as well.

If you hav'nt used Harly, it is quite simply "superb" only available on Ebay from Johnny Woods. Easy on Easy off no residue no dust brilliant sheen.

Collinite, really good durable sheen, dries fairly quick and a so and so to rub off, leaves a dusty residue, but lasts a long time.

So is polish, wh8ch will do the job, I only use my fingernail personally but just give the two products as a guide as I know some of the car industries use it
