Just picked up a flex awning for £287 (plus £8 shipping), some £263 cheaper than AL!

We tried this out on our Familia a few years ago but it was an awful fit (too long) and think we were sent a sample in error hence being duly returned. Happy to give it another go, as it's been remodelled and this is a GREAT price.

Hi Mrs C
As you may know from the other awning thread I have also ordered this awning (but for our Troll) They have said they will email on despatch so I can track the order - but I've not heard anything yet - have you?

I saw your thread after I'd posted on here! Nothing as yet, great price.
We tried this a few years ago and returned it as the fitting was all wrong for the 320 Looks like it's be remodelled and a better fit, so thought we'd like to try it again. We liked the sun/rain canopy and very easy to erect.
Let us know how you get on!

Wonder if it will fit a Puck L?
They make one for a Familia, body length it should be ok as the Familia is only 3" longer. You just need to know if the distance from the floor to the awning rail is the same as your Puck L and a pre 2009 Familia.
You could ask Jason at AL if their version will fit.....

Well logically, it should fit the Familia Bryn.
Remaining mindful of what Mrs C said; quote:-"We tried this out on our Familia a few years ago but it was an awful fit (too long)" the website details for the Eurotrail for the Familia states that the awning is 3500mm long whereas the Triton one is 4000mm long.
http://www.obelink.co.uk/awnings-canopie...an-familia.html
If you look at the layout details for both models you'll see that the Triton is 500mm longer than the Familia. Therefore it should follow that if the Eurotrail Triton fits well then the Eurotrail Familia should do the same.
Why not Email them stating that Eriba owners in the past have found that the Familia model has been a bad fit and have they improve it?
The fact that you have a 320 should have no bearing and the Eriba shown on the Eurotrail website appears to be a 420 which is your model's big sister, therefore the door position relative to the front of the van is the same.

Apologies, just returned from a weekend in Italy, without Hilda our 420!
In my OP, my intention was to say the depth, not length was far too long. We had no issues with the length. Here's a couple of pics of the original one, the depth was 290cm (without the sun canopy). The connection to the van was all wrong as was the overall height. On the front, it had one door and one window and did not zip off!

Apologies for the above photo of oneself but it was a huge disappointment and wanted to feedback how awful it was!
We've not tried the new version as yet (received in good time from Obelink) but the info and photos appear to be promising!
