Back in the dawn of time........late 1970's....as a "Man from The Pru " I regularly past an EribaCar on my rounds, I used to drool over this camper for weeks.
It was a Renault based van, but I really liked, and fantasied over owning one. I never did get around to acquiring one, but have always had a soft spot for them, although they were few and far between.
My Triton is the nearest I've come........At least its an Eriba !!

"Man from the Pru" takes me back. My first job was in the Accounts department of the divisional office in Lincoln. I was responsible for two districts. Worked there for four years. Nice people to work for/with but I think it's a different business now.

Afternoon all, it's been ages since my last update, so here's where we are now.......

The wiring has finally been sorted and sod's law dictates that the leisure battery decided to die on me; however the van needed some minor works to ensure a valid MOT certificate, so the battery has not yet been replaced.

I managed to get a nice set of heated leather pews for the cab from a Chrysler PT Cruiser which match the interior better than I could have ever imagined, but due to the construction of my swivwl bases, cannot wire up the heated elements nor the drivers side height adjustments - Ahhh diddums says my better half!

The van is ready now for it's next jaunt away - the last being an Easter trip doen to Brighouse Bay which we would highly recomend.
This planned trip will most likely be the weekend after next and as we are trying to stay local to build up for (potentially) a Tuscan trip in August, will likely end up at Arisaig or Fort William area and by god I am so looking forward to it.
