Crikey, Graham, if that's not a case of the pot calling the kettle black, I don't know what is. I quote from another of your posts (made while on holiday):

"I have waxed the car everyday here and she does look good even if I say so myself. The Eriba has been washed with a watering can with the help of overnight dew twice, then dried and waxed. Earlier today I wiped the exposed bits of floor clean and wiped out the shower tray (disposable floor wipes from the £ shop).

I think the only thing I need to do currently is another coat of wax to the upper (pop top) and lower roofs."

Ironing while away on holiday, particularly if for an extensive period = normal. Waxing car and caravan on a daily basis on a UK camp site = well, weird.

me weird clean and weird, I'll admit to, mind you I've seen a few others doi g what I do so I'm not alone

Here's our green watering can:

Spout sealed to body with ptfe tape and flexible end taped on with electrical insulating tape allows filling of water tank under sink without removing it. A full water tank is very heavy to carry but the watering can is easy to manage. The caravan tank takes 2.5 watering cans to fill and the extra from the third filling is used to start the chemical toilet and/or top up the flushing tank.

We use water in the van mainly for making tea, cleaning teeth and washing hands plus some cooking and the tank contents usually last us two or more days.

You obviously play at tea drinking Mr Trent & Mersey. Serious tea drinkers are two Aquarolls a day men.

Would you believe that on our recent Francojaunt we ended up rationing the tea bags due to a quantitative miscalculation at the planning stage?

In the end the emergency was resolved by Mrs C who managed to spin them out by making two cups with each bag.

Buy some Yorkshire Tea. I brought some back from our recent visit and bloody hell, the bags are so generously filled that I'll bet you could possibly knock up 20+ cup fulls. Come to think of it, I think the road work gangs in the UK must be using them because although we passed umpteen sets of road works we never actually saw anyone working. No doubt everyone was sitting in a big hut somewhere supping Yorkshire tea.

We use Yorkshire tea and recently bought a big 600 teabag bag from Ocado. That should be good for nearly 6 months.

it's more noticeable on a hard standing obviously, but it's like an encroachment of mine or others privacy, I don't need a dog! and it was'nt our pitch, but I did notice on the 2 sites these happenings, very rude, to say the least
