Push or pull

My father-in law a seasonesed caravaner of many many years has always given me the advice of “never manually pull a caravan always push it” I’ve always followed his advice to the letter. Is this necessary with the ridged steel frame of the eriba or a white box for that matter. Noticed a friends white box getting a few hairline cracks around the handles.

Its good advice for the traditional vans as the handles are screwed into the internal wood frame, I'm not to sure how they fix them on the new composite vans. However the Eriba is substantially a lot stronger due to that the handles been bolted directly into the internal steel frame. I would just make sure as the years go by that they haven't become lose as it can be a potential route for water tracking down the screw thread......
