I have noticed that Airstream have a few pre- owned Eribas on their website of different ages for anyone who is looking. Ellen.

That's a change then, because initially they said they weren't going to sell used Eribas and the impression I formed was that they weren't wanting part exchanges and were advising potential customers to sell privately.

Hi Ian. If you go on the Airstream website then click on the Inventory page there are lots of Airstream then scroll down and you will see Eribas. I go on the Tbeay site at Cumbria. I am useless at being able to put a link for you to click on by maybe someone can help us out. Hope this helps. Ellen.

Are you referring to the 2001 Triton 430 Taffy? If so. you won't get one with single beds. The 430 is a cross van sleeper so the rear beds will always be a double. g15p98-Triton.html

Yes, I think I will be looking for a 420 with twin/single beds. There is a nice one on another eriba site, but it's a 2007 model and more than I envisaged spending but is exact spec to my needs.

As 420's are a bit hard to come by, have you thought of perhaps looking at a Troll 540? Long single beds but a side kitchen. However you do get a 2 seater dinette/single bed in the front as well. They're probably a little easier to come by than the 420 as well.

I have the added complication of the future car I will be purchasing will only have a towing capacity of 1050kg so I think the troll will be to heavy.@

Hmmm. Good point. Cutting it fine. Did you know that pre-2000'ish models are lighter. As an example, our Troll is 1000kg max. so I dare say a comparable Triton would be lighter again?

I have found a website that gives the weight of a 540 as 930kg. Does anyone know what the average weight of packing would be. I don't travel with everything and the kitchen sink but a bag of clothes few cooking items, gas bottles shade brolly, wind blocker for a screen but no awning although a pull out sunshade on the can would be nice but I fear that may tip me over the 1050kg towing capacity of the vehicle I have my eye on.
