Hi. We have just bought our first Eriba. Its a 1984 Familia, and we are very excited about it arriving next week. We attend many vintage weekends with our 1934 Ford Sedan so were looking for something lightweight and easy to tow. A few of our friends have Eribas so we know a bit about them. Roll on spring.

Hi Sarah ( and the gang) and welcome to Eribafolk. So, exciting times ahead. Like you, many of us are counting the days until we can all get back on the road again.
Of course there are quite a few hardy Eribarists who use theirs throughout the year.
Did you buy privately or from a dealer? We would love to see some photos, not only of the new Familia but also of the Ford.
Regards
Randa

Enjoy.. We brought a puck last year, and went on our first trip in February, and continued small breaks all year, our final one of 2014 in November. Fantastic first year. Hope you have a great first year..

We bought it from Tony Lloyd in Lancashire. A bit scary as we have seen lots of photos but not seen it in the skin as yet. Although Tony Lloyd is delivering it and we have only paid a deposit with the understanding that if its not right then we can have our deposit back. I dont think you can get much more reassuring service than that. I will put photos up soon.

We don't think you have any need to worry Sarah as Eriba Caravan Sales have been around for a while now and have a reputation to uphold. http://www.eribacaravansales.co.uk/
Presumably, whoever delivers it will demonstrate how things work eg. interior lighting, fridge etc? Do you have an Electric Hook Up (EHU) cable Werbung: Like This so that you can get mains power to it? You'll need one eventually but if you can't get one in time ask Tony if he can bring one along with him. You'll also need Werbung: One Of These to plug it into the house mains.
Check for a spare wheel and have a prod around underneath, especially the small box framing around the underside bottom edges of the van. See if you can get the age off the tyres.

we will be wild camping until July, so will check things out on battery and gas instead of EHU. We had a solar panel on our old RV which was excellent, might carry a portable one if needed for the Eriba.
The space is ready and I have ordered a cover this morning so ready for February weather.
I am sure we will have to set her up and have a cuppa as soon as she arrives
