Probably not a good idea, the corner supports are only to steady the van in use not to hold its weight better to use a pair of axle stands .............you can steady it on the axle stands with them though as long as most of the weight is on the axle stands.

Stay safe and remember that a caravan is very different to a car in that they are inherently unbalanced when you jack them up. Make sure it is on level ground, the handbrake is on, and the opposite wheel and jockeywheel are chocked. Some folks advocate hitching it up to the car up but if your like me I don't have the space to do that........

As Poptop320 said: Brake ON and chock the wheels ESPECIALLY THE JOCKEY WHEEL ! it has a habit of swinging round when van is jacked up ! I put a building brick under the jockey tyre, with the tyre resting in the hollow "frog" of the brick - seems to work !

Also, be aware that the caravan can roll backwards 10 inches (25cm) before the handbrake is fully applied. It can be very disconcerting when this happens.

hmm brake overrun shock is something else i think i need to replace, i have the clonk/knock when pulling away which i think is a symptom of a worn shock isnt it?

Could be - see if there's a lot of resistance (which there should be) when you push the hitch in, and if when fully in it should return out very gradually ! If easy to push IN and doesn't return slowly by itself then the gas strut looks like it not working and needs replacing :(

Usually when the over run shock is worn the brakes will start to snatch when slowing down. I experienced this in my old Puck with spectacular results and it nearly giving me a heart attack.
The Puck brakes snatched when I was slowing down at a junction making my brake shoes jam on, they were then ripped off the linings as I set off to pull out.....
As already mentioned if the hitch is easy to push in and doesn't come back out slowly get it changed before using it.

Took the drawbar out and cleaned everything up. Gave the oil filled shock a good work out by pumping it in and out a few times. Put it all back together. Took it for a drive and no more clunk as I pull away now.

Took wheels off, after jacking up and putting on axle stands, then gave a slap of paint and its all good.
