OK so we have a television for the caravan. Is there an easy way to work out in which direction to point the avtex aerial?

I saw a guy on a site once who had an app on his mobile for that too.

The usual advice is to look at the aerials on local houses.

We were faced with a similar problem last year. Who's a TV Techie?
We found this website very good http://www.ukfree.tv/maps/tvregions although it took a few minutes to find our way around it.
We also found that by looking at the very few aerials on caravans around us (they were all pointing in various directions) that we needed to alter ours from horizontal to vertical polarity (or was it the other way around ).
