Been toying with the idea for years :)

I have lots of hassle getting my current van in to my back garden or on to my front drive. The lower height and narrow width would make an Eriba much easier to get in to my back garden (narrow service road behind terrace house)
Looking for a 3 berth to accommodate grandson, toilet facility, not necessarily built in and reasonable length bed. I am unsure about beds that fit across the van as I am just over 6 feet long!

Going down to Automotive Leisure in a couple of weeks to view different layouts.

Wish me luck :)

Good luck Ray!
What you want is a 540. 😊
2 long singles which make a huge double (if needed) and a single made from the front dinette.

Good luck Ray with your search, A/L is a good start they have plenty of vans to have a look around.

Thanks Frantone, but the 540 is too long.
My previous van was 5058mm overall length and I could get that in fairly easily. Current van is 5995mm and is a real struggle. I guess that the maximum comfortable length would be the Triton at 5180mm long.

Hello Ray and welcome to Eribafolk. I'm sure that once you've had a look around a few Eribas at AL, you'll be hooked.
If you are restricted to a maximum length, the Triton being the longest you can accommodate, then there is nothing that will fit all your criteria. The 430 will sleep 3 and does have a fixed wash room but it's a cross van sleeper. The 410 on the other hand, does have long beds but no wash room. Also, there are not many 410's around whereas the 430 is a popular model.

There are 6 footers who do sleep quite comfortably across the van and once you've tried one out at AL you'll see if it's for you.
Are you thinking "new" or "used"? The thing with Eribas is that their previous owners normally cherish them and they are built to last.
Good hunting.

Thank you all for your welcome and thoughts. The Triton 410/430 looks ideal but will also look at the 310 Familia.
Good to know that fellow 6 footers sleep comfortably across the van.

I'll be popping off to a more appropriate forum later with lots more questions.

Cheers :)

When I was 6' tall I slept across the width of our 430. The sleeping was not a problem but the getting in and out was. The furniture arrangement meant that to get across the other sleeping beauty was only possible across the stomach area. This was because the wardrobe and fridge left only that part to use!

Not sure what you mean by 'more appropriate forum'!

Not sure how to quote a specific reply here so:-
Quote Frantone "

I meant a different section of the Eriba Folk forum once I get in to detailed questions as opposed to the welcome thread :)
