I am not normally a great fan of all things American, but one thing I do admire is when they start building stuff. No messing around with garages the size of an under-stairs shoe cupboard, and imagine buying (or even considering buying) 30 tins of 1 shot sign-writing paint over here. Guess he is in a state where they can legally puff away at the ganga.

is it just me or does the one shown on the website (attached to the blue car) look very tall? Maybe it is just perspective distortion but American cars are usually quite massive themselves. Nice looking though.

I took Matilda to a little classic car rally today at Lullingstone Castle. I have come to the conclusion there must be something in the local water to produce so many eccentrics in the area. The chap next to me who had brought along a large Ford pick-up truck mentioned he had an unusual homemade caravan. Here it is on YouTube, together with his other classic...

Although not strictly a small caravan, this 1996 Renault Clio based camper was the predecessor to our 1994 Eriba. The Clio even had a built-in shower and 4 berths (without the awning!!!)
