Hi Victoriana, We use to have a 1993 Puck, when the double bed was made up it was quite spacious as you sleep length ways in the van. Myself and my wife are both 5`2" and of medium build. I would say that the the benches used as singles would be a bit too narrow for a comfortable nights sleep. When you get chance try and have a look around a few Eribas before buying one. If your going down the porta pottie route you may need to think about small toilet tent, we had a small utility tent before we bought a full awning otherwise you will be storing the potty in the wardrobe when not in use. Good luck and enjoy your Eriba hunting....

Hello.

Thank you so much. Will have to see what works for me first as you say. Then decide if I need to change the tow car. May have to think of the one with front bed as well. Not sure what that one's tow weight is

Once again, if you refer to the chart I pointed you towards you'll find the tow weight you're looking for.

As for the front bed, bear in mind that in that configuration all the beds sleep across the width of the caravan, and no Eriba other than a Troll is wider than 2m.

(Pucks are narrower, by the way: between 1.65 and 1.8m, depending on model. But it's all in the chart.)

Victoriana the best thing to do is actually go look at a few models and then you can arrive a the right decision for you. When you are sitting inside one you will get the feel for what would work for you.

Yes I think you are right. Just looking and think 1000 kg would give much more choose. Rather than just puck

Hi Victoriana. We towed an old Puck with a 2cv. It does work but is marginal! Now have a 2.2 C5 with a Triton behind and it is SO much easier! I am sure a triton would be too much for your Bipper. You are welcome to visit and have a look if you are local to me - just pm me.

Remember to keep joining in, I had found this motley crew to be very knowledgeable and certainly helped me decide and the knowledge picked up very helpful as a first timer. And keep us posted on what you decide or get.

It's not an obsession.. Wanting to own an Eriba is a perfectly normal and rational ambition, ask anyone here!

There are photos of an Eribelle in the Gallery I think, it's not a Puck but it's an Eriba.

Here's a French owned Eribelle that we saw in Portugal recently.
