Hello.
Ok I have a car that can only tow 600 kg braked. Have been looking at everything. Finally settled on a cute twin bed puck.
As went camping it was freezing in may. Then second night airbed went flat every 2 hours. So think at my time of life simple comfort will be great.
Ok so hello

My late 1980's Puck was rated at 430 Kg unladen 500 Kg laden (braked) so it can be done Before I got that I tried sleeping in the back of a Ford Ranger pickup on an airbed that did the same ..............so been there done that
Good luck with your Puck hunt.

Hello.
Yes am keeping an eye out. Found koolclassics who also do them imported from Holland. Seem like good prices just not sure of them. Will have to find someone who has dealt with them.
if i trade in my car which can only pull 600 to the 1.3 which is same engine only tweaked . Which can pull 1000kg would i have more options in the eriba range?

Hi Victoriana.
Regarding Kool Classics, although I've not dealt with them, they do appear to have many satisfied customers. They've been going for quite a few years now so have a reputation to uphold.
I don't think they'll let you down if you see something you like.

If you were to change your car then if you could tow up to 1000k then your options could comfortably go up to a Triton which would give you more layout options. Others can advise if you could go to a Smallest Troll as I am not experienced to advise on those.

Hi and
if you passed your driving test after January 1997 to tow certain weights you need to do an additional test.
belt and braces would be to get the higher rated tow car, for choice of eriba and uphill pulling braking etc.
hehehe the air mattress that deflates at night and inflates during the day, forgot about that..
Hope you find your perfect eriba

How many people does your Eriba need to sleep Victoriana? If you're used to camping and there are only two of you who are not of "that" age where an on board loo would be handy then the Puck should suit you perfectly. Even if you have a few kids then a decent Puck awning should do the trick.
What is the make and model of your existing car?

She has (I say "she", but I've no reason to make that assumption) a Peugeot Teepee Bipper, in an un-"tweaked" version that can only draw 600kg.

Aha!! It's a good job someone's awake Martyn. So according to http://www.whattowcar.com/ anything other than an older Puck would be too heavy.

Yes I have a 1.4 tepee bipper . And can only tow 600 kg braked. There will be two of us but need twin not double. We are of a certain age . But a porta potty will be fine for nights.
If I went for the 1.3 which is same engine tweaked I could tow 1000kg. Would that be better ?
