Firmer push and pull

Fitted a new door retainer from Jandi this morning and definitely the newness is showing how the previous version had worn. Quite solid now and the test will be on a windy pitch. Slight variation in the angles of the male unit were worth spotting.

You'll get your collar felt if you carry on like that.

The one on my newly acquired 320 has let go several times so I think I'll do the same before I get a door in the face. Did it take long to arrive following your order?

No Jason they were very helpful but I know they are inundated with orders and leaving for a trip abroad very soon so even if you order it you may not get it stratight away, but they will ask anyway.

The door retainer is a standard accessory and should be available from most caravan or camping shops. I got my last one from Go Outdoors!

There are some that clip in straight ie door totally open and some that clip in at a slight angle so be sure to look for the right type.

On windy days a bungee or string from door to the jockey wheel stem helps or some drill 2 small holes in the catch and fit a piece of wire in between.

Nev, it is very difficult to spot the slight angle but I got it, having read about it somewhere in here.
