This may not be relevant to most however if your under your van why not winterise the piping? When we had our old Burstner and prior to that other wwb and camper vans, we experienced frozen pipes! So for the sake of a bit of cheap lagging and cable ties or tape it would make sense if your using your van through the winter months.

Some of the pipes when joined "form a low point" it is this that is particularly prone to freezing, as I say just a thought

A stiletto between the ribs and no mistake.

I can afford to be mean to Arwie. We've known her for the thick end of forty years and I can't think of a single occasion when she hasn't grasped the opportunity to be utterly horrid to both of us.

I've put every single one of them in the bank, an investment for a day just like today. I look forward to making substantial withdrawals over the next few weeks

We love you really, Ros.

Did that sound sincere enough?

Like me, Mr Hobgoblin, you are getting a reputation for your rude and unhelpful attitude. Maybe you are spending too much time in Yorkshire and it's rubbing off on you? Given longer exposure to our uncouth Northern ways you might end up as horrid as that Monsieur le Pew. Well, it's something to aim for.

Obviously standing outside the campsite office in the freezing cold trying to connect to their sh**te wifi has not improved my mood
managed to cobble a connection to a bt wifi hotspot at the moment..............still sat in the freezing cold.............. my wireless mouse has a flat battery and i'm here for another 10 days..............

There are some shops in Yorkshire, Nev. There's one in Leeds which sells batteries - I think it's somewhere on the High Street

There was me feeling embarrassed being thought churlish as a newbie to Eriba World. Fell much better now. Mr A delighted to hear that even online I can flounce out of the room muttering "Don't bother! I'll do it myself".

Mine must have been done by the previous owner. I thought it was standard and considering what they cost new I'm staggered it's not.

On sites with facilities you will produce very little waste water.

I wish.

With he number of trips I seem to make filling and emptying water containers I think Mrs E sneaked the 'with bath' option in when we ordered our caravan.

Never mind Nev. Have a look at the weather forcast for East Anglia today and tomorrow and you'll feel better!
(Oops meant to put this on Nev's 'On the road again' thread. Brain going rusty due to the rain!>)

We use a Waste Hog. It was a gift from a friend and yes it is a bit big but we don't have to empty it so often and our Triton 430 has a fixed bed with access via lockers (one on each side) so we have plenty of space (the whole area of the double bed) to carry it. I picked up a lightweight, folding trolley made by Pennine Leisure from GoOutdoors for about £13.00 which I use for the fresh water containers.
