Fitting rain strip to Triton

I'm struggling to fit the rain strip that came with our Walker awning to the gutter on our Triton... any advice/tips on how to do this? I'm thinking a very sunny day and hair dryer might help to soften the plastic?
Thanks,
Rob

Thanks for the link, that's definately the same strip. I think it might be a 2+ person job as it's hard to control the strip on one's own!

I found it quite hard to control the first time I fitted ours. It whipped around a fair bit!
As for fitting it I found it went on a bit more easily if angled back towards the caravan roof then sort of twisted on and downwards. Once on it was very firm and we left it on for months and hundreds of miles at a time.
I don't think it is necessary to use any glue or mastic as it is designed to be a good fit but also removable.

Rain strip now fitted! Needed a very firm push to get it on but easier once started. I think the warm day also helped.

I eventually managed to fit mine with the help of a friend of mine who had fingers like steel! Since putting it on in Portugal we have left it on, we are now in the Pyrenees. It has rained pretty consistently for the past 3 days and I can say the strip works well. Would not like to think what it would have been like without it.
