don't worry about the towing. Take it steady, at your own pace and it will soon seem as if you have always done it.

Hi there

I've not long had Millie Puck either & had never towed before. Everyone in here is lovely with us newbies & give good advice which has probably been asked a million times before.

I'd say a good tip is take her for a tow on an industrial estate with nice big wide roads on a Sunday morning. I spent a few hours practicing - it's not forwards that's the problem it's backwards!!! Thought I'd got the basics but all went out of the window when I arrived pleased as punch on a camp site & the pressure of doing the manoeuvre deleted everything I learned from the old grey matter. No worries though, I just unhooked & pushed her in

Still haven't got the bottle to go into motorway services though, scared of getting stuck in there. Hahaha

Have fun with her, Millie is the best purchase I've made for a very long time!!

Hello and welcome, we are waiting for our 420 which we should have by the end of the month. Like you we have never towed before and i must admit we do find the thought of it quite daunting however everyone on this site have been very positive so hopefuly it will be ok. Great name by the way, would I be right in thinking there may be a few flower stickers adorning your new Puck?

Hello Chris and Keith, Poptop320, Clive and T&C,
Thank you for your kind welcoming messages. Doris arrived early! I've have cleaned her inside and out and she's sparkling. All of my camping gear is in its place and I ate my dinner, had a glass of wine and read my book in her last night sitting on my drive! I'll be having a cup of tea in her later!

Could I just ask, would it be worth having a service before we go anywhere and if so, where is the nearest place to West Bridgford, Nottingham?
Thank you.

Depends on when it was last done and how much it has been used since then?
If at all worried then get one done.

This website should help you find one in your area

It depends on where you purchased Doris? If you bought her from a dealer then they should have given her the once over before selling her on.

If you bought her privately then it might be a good idea for your own peace on mind.

Poptop320 added a link to these people earlier this year :- http://www.lowdhams.com/new-eriba-touring-caravan-tourer

or you could find a mobile engineer. Here's a link added by Old Rocker :- http://www.adlcaravanservices.co.uk/

Oooo, I missed the second page. I'm like a kid in a sweet shop!
Hello hob (thank you for the manual. That's brilliant). Hello Julie Grafo (heard about your partying expertise!). Hello EllieMay, (I can see myself in exactly the same position as you...trip planned to Devon at the end of August...will definitely need to practise!) Hello RicknEll (Thank you for the name mention. It is what my lovely dad used to call me as a child and it goes with me everywhere. Sadly, he'll never get to meet Doris. Good luck on your maiden voyage). Hello Randa france (What took you so long?! How do I post a picture?)

Thank you. That's brilliant. It was a private sale and I'm sure I should have been a bit more vigilant in what I was looking for but love is blind as they say!!

Thank you hob and Randa france,
I think I will definitely have her looked over. Also I would like some mozzie blinds. Do you know where I can get those from? Do I fix them myself?

Hello and to eriba ownership

leisure shop direct, Jandi, or a caravan breaker if your eriba doesn't already have.

if you do have them the fly net can be renewed by sliding the fabric sideways a plastic strip holds the material to the bottom rail and upper roller, it can be a handful of a job..
