Hi All,
We are on the hunt for our first ever Eriba. Looking for a 4 berth Troll and with a modest budget will prove a challenge! We have wanted one for ages and after selling our vw camper decided to take the plunge. Is there anything we should look out for when viewing them as i will be looking through rose tinted glasses so need some help!

Mr & Mrs Morphy (Bev & Steve) we also have the 540 suits our requirements the best for us. Fixed bed if you want to leave up and small dinette or large front and large table. Again you can have I double plus one single bed or three single beds the 540 is pretty versatile I.M.H.O.
Good luck Morphy

Hi Julie and welcome to Eribafolk.
Older Trolls do come up from time to time but like all Eribas, they are normally not on sale for very long.
Of the 4 berth Trolls the most popular one is today described as a 530 but was once called a Troll "T". This comes with a toilet and washroom and a rear and front cross van sleeping arrangement..
There are other 4 berths but they come up far less frequently. They are:-
Troll "O" with no toilet and no washroom. This has two long beds to the rear and a wide front cross bed.
Troll "M" with no toilet but a small washroom sink. This has a rear and front cross van sleeping arrangement.
However, be warned that whichever one you come across, the wide front cross bed, although bigger than a single, is hardly wide enough to sleep two adults. Two little ones would probably be OK.
The alternative is to build a bunk in the front berth in which case the 540 and all other Troll models become suitable.
As far as what to look for when viewing an Eriba, the list is long but to start the ball rolling here's a recent short thread on the subject:- New Members thinking about Pucks

I guess anything up to about '96. Our budget is about £5000 hopefully a bit less.
To be honest as long as it has room for 4 and the small bathroom I don't care, I will just fall for it.
My sister has just got a 3 berth so now i'm jealous!

We nearly went for the 88 at a dealer last week but werent convinced on how the toilet was in a toilet! It was too far to go and look so we decided against it.

That wouldn't be the one at North Walsham, Norflok, would it, we were going to look at that one, it had a toilet put into what looked like the wardrobe, the van looked quite tidy, made an offer but the guy hesitated and another came along that suited us better, hopefully it arrives tomorrow.
