This will sound as if I'm trying to rain on your parade - which I'm not - but why is this stuff any better than a bit of silicone spray squirted onto a cloth and wiped over the seals and draught strips? It stops door seals sticking in cold weather just the same and if you spray a bit into the window channels it helps stop them freezing shut as well as giving the lifter motors an easier time.

A tin of silicone spray is cheaper and you can use it for more things.

I'm not being negative, Rod.

It's just a counter argument, that's all. A possible alternative solution to the problem. How is that being negative?

Surely the more information people have the better able they are to make a decision as to whether it's a benefit to them or not.

How are your shares in Gummipflege doing this morning, by the way?
