Hello all.
Well, I got a 1998 Eriba Puck.
We had originally wanted a camper van, but saw this caravan, fell in love, and bought it straight away.
The thing is, this is our first caravan, and we don't have a clue how everything works.
We got allsorts with it.
Basically, the elderly couple who were selling in were giving up camping and gave us everything, from an awning, right down to a TV and some very quaint period blue plates, cups and saucers.
I should have asked more questions of them, but we were just so excited, we drove off with it.
There are instructions for the gas hob and refridgerator, but I cannot make head nor tale of them.
Can someone please offer some assistance here.

Hello and

Some light reading for you If you right click on the link below and select save as or similar you will download a generic Eriba manual which should help a lot.

If you have a good look round in all the cupboards you may even find the original.

Please don't hesitate to ask specific questions as they occur to you but don't forget to use the search facility at the top of the page first. You'll be amazed at the breadth and depth of topics discussed on here.

We were all beginners once and some of us not so long ago. Have a look at the 'Oopsy daisy' thread, it might give you a laugh and make you feel better.

Oh brilliant that you have a fantastic little van. May you have many fantastic holidays in her. Now you need to name him or her. And I understand drinking is involved somewhere.
Will go quietly and search for a puck for me.

Hi and
You could always join the mini meet that's going on near Southampton and no doubt many of your questions can be answered on the spot. We went to our first meet this year and was shown how to put the heater on!!...not used since, so hope we have remembered!

We got our '99 Puck in May and were completely new to all things Eriba before that. You'll learn loads on this forum - a mine of information!

Have fun!

Many thanks for the input.
Actually, we've joined the owners club and are going to the rally in Yorkshire next month,
I'm really hoping I can find someone there who'll explain it all.
I'm hopeless with instructions.
I need to be shown.
Don't even get me started on the awning
