tolerance of soplair awning to sloping pitch

I have a newly purchased Triton 430 2007 which came complete with a little used Soplair awning. It stuck me when I pitched up a few days ago that there is no way to compensate for a pitch that slopes fore and aft to much extent.

With my previous Elddis caravan, like all UK vans, one can compensate for a sloping pitch by sliding the awning further round the awning rail so that there is an equal drop to the ground at front and rear.

On some sites that I have been on, the arrangement of the Soplair on the Triton would very quickly be above ground and unable to peg down.

Any other experiences out there/advice?

Don't know if this is a problem all Eribas suffer with but certainly it is one we have had with our PuckL and an NR/AL awning. All you can do is lower the legs on the high side to compensate and hopefully the awning will be near enough to the ground to peg down. Helps if you have the little rubber extension bits (don't know the proper name) on the pegging down bits (see what I mean, sorry to be so inept).
Hope this helps, it probably doesn't/

Thanks. I have already "upgraded" to ladder bands, it's so much easier for pegging out. The main problem is not the pegging but there could be a gap between the mudflaps and the ground on some sites that I've been on :0
The C&C site near Sevenoaks, Kent would have been awful. Very slopey. The back end of our van was almost touching the ground there, couldn't even get the waste container under.
