Hi Frankie, I have a AL Porch awning, I am more than happy with mine. It looks like the new awning has been upgraded with a few more tweaks. Surprising they are cheaper now than when we bought ours 3 years ago...
AL used to use NR Awnings to make their awnings in Lancashire however it looks like they now have a new supplier.

The porch awning is easy to put up and very versatile, we use ours to eat in and leave the bed up in the Familia 320 f we are staying more than 4 nights

When I go on holiday I like to pop my top!

Hi . We bought one in Spring at the show . Its good except we dont find it a neat fit around the two corners either end of the awning zip at gutter level ( where it attaches to van) so it leaks a bit around there and the zip, in rain from certain directions. We tried it all ways but still had significant gaps and felt we were straining the material round there a bit too. We called in at AL a few weeks ago and explained the problem and were told we should have also bought a special 'strip' to go with the awning, which is supposed to prevent the problem . Well no-one at AL suggested that at purchase time . Its a long fairly rigid plastic piece a couple of inches wide and nearly twice as long as you apparently need . ( Bit unfortunate that ,as the whole piece cost us an extra £20 ) We havent had a chance to do anything with it yet to see how it fits , so cant comment on its effectiveness.
Like many awnings it puddles a bit , but we're going to add a couple of poles ,as you do , and that should sort it. The canvas quality seems good and its just a nice size if you only need a small sheltered area for two chairs , and somewhere to dry the dog and keep the wellies and wine rack!

Silly question how easy is this one to put up. As looking at the video looks like you need two people. And about 20 minutes ?

Still looking for a good puck

I suppose one personcould do it , but it would be more difficult getting the canvas over the frame.. We've only had this one up three times and I think yes, it took around 20-25 mins , . Its probably quicker and easier once you get used to it . Perfectly straightforward, the most irritating bit is when you take it out of the bag initially - establishing which is the front and back.

And gallery pictures of the new version at different points of assembly

And yes I manage to put mine up on my own.......... note the new model is supposed to fit pre and post 2009 Eribas but the skirt is a little on the long side on pre 2009 models due to being 6cm lower at the awning rail.
