Upon revisiting your problem I see that I've got your major slope the wrong way around. 
However I'm sure you get my drift.

Regarding jacking, chocking, blocking etc, thanks to the information shared by Brian (Aaron Calder) we always make sure that after we apply the Eriba handbrake, we push the van backwards until the handbrake lever moves to the vertical, at which time we can jack, chock and bloke to our heart's content.

Pretty damned good illustration of the ramp though, don't you think?
