You're all pretty well-travelled in this Royaume-Uni of ours, but could you locate yourself from one of a series of random Google Streetview pictures?

Have a go at Geoguessr. It's a cool way of wasting a bit of time if there's nowt on the box. Scroll and zoom round the map on the right, click on where you reckon you are and push 'make guess'.

If that's too easy, there's the worldwide version as well. Now that's a challenge.

You can always cheat by 'driving' down the road using the cursors in the photographs to look for clues, but if you happen to be plonked on an arrow-straight strip of dirt somewhere in the middle of nowhere - literally - it often won't do you much good.

It's a good wheeze. A bit of detective work and some stunning scenery to boot...
