Good luck
Jandi sent us a replacement damper ( brilliant service as usual) which Neil has fitted after much spitting and cursing. The problem which is still ongoing is he didn't really look when he took it all to bits and is now trying to work out how the handbrake goes back. I remember "crow" saying always take photos before starting work, wish we had remembered to do that!!

Hope this helps

Thanks Nev, I'll get Neil to look at the video before he goes back out into the cold to sort the handbrake out. I'm afraid I am totally useless at this sort of stuff, my role is to pass tools, make coffee and sympathise.

Just looked at the video Nev but it is completely different to our Eriba, obviously ours is too old (2004). Anyway the sun is shining and Neil is going back out there again, it's just where the end of the mechanism connects with the drawbar bit (technical talk). Hopefully it will soon be sorted, will let you know but thanks again for trying, much appreciated.

It's all sorted thankfully. My "help" amounted to finding some screws and washers that had fallen under the Eriba and finding a cable tie in the " box of assorted things that might come in handy one day"! The sun may be shining but is COLD out there.
