Hi and
Regards Chris and Keith (and Erica)

To: Nat n John, We too have a 430 and our insurance is about £114 p.a.. We get ours from Alan Blunden & Co. t/a www.cover4caravans.co.uk p.s. I went on line for a quote and was given £154. I left it for a couple of days and then they phoned me with a 'special' price of £114!!!!, so worth trying and seeing if you get the same deal. Chris

Hi Nat

I just did some comparison sites and got cover with £1000 of personal effects and same for equipment, and £500 for awning, was £124 with caravansure have to keep at a Cassoa storage site, with hitchlock and a wheel lock or clamp,

i tried several quotes adjusting the personal and equipment bits to see how high i could get them without the fee going up, oh and it's £100 excess.

Hope you get sorted and enjoy, we are going out in ours this weekend to have a play and sort a few things out. think we will be making good use of the heating.

Regards Steve

Wow Chris and Keith that is good, have you had Erica a long time, or a good NCB?
The best I could find today was £277 2gether insurance but we are new to Caravaning , wanted new for old, plus unsecured driveway prob doesn't help!
I will bear them in mind for next year though thankyou 😀🚎

Thanks Steve
that was good, enjoy!
I'm guessing it's better security at a storage place but we want to be using ours quickly at a weekend all year round and have enough space to keep it on the drive, so we have to pay the price I'm guessing!
Off to collect her/ him this weekend and doing an overnighter on the coast let hope it's not blowing a force 10! ☔️💨

Afternoon Steve & Jools,

Welcome to the Eriba world, you won't regret your purchase.
I think I've seen Poppy in the past, possibly 2008/09, at the Keswick Camping & Caravan club site. From memory the van was owned by Joyce & Mike who I think subsequently sold it to SDA.
The weather that week was atrocious, and we used to shelter under their canopy on the way to the washblock!

Cheers Mark

(don't know how to make the above in purple letters!! me and technology........)

Hi...Only had our 430 since May 2014. We don't have new for old. We are covered for £8k, Contents £1000 and Awning £650. Excess £100. We did find when searching for insurance, none of the companies cover any electronics left unattended in the van, so that's a risk we will take. Chris

Hi so a year no claims is helpful, we haven't got awning yet have a high rail (2011) so may need to save for that as second hand may be rare, TV/ pc is banned in our van! but will take phones, new for old cover insured for £21,000 as we have a mover so explains the premium really, but no storage costs.

I have seen your new toy and it looks very nice on the website. I am sure you will find it very easy I was a first time tow, and found it so easy to pull. Although yours is a little heavier than my 2008 420 I am sure it still will pull like a dream.

We got our Triton 430 just a few weeks ago so I can understand your excitement. I really like your curtains!
