I have just purchased a 2000 Eriba Pan Familia with the yellow livery. I believe it weighs 710 KG unladen and a total towing weight of 850 KG fully loaded.

I am considering changing the wheels from steel wheels to alloy wheels as it is a bit of a pain to keep removing the plastic wheel trims to enable the wheel clamp to go on. It would also enhance the appearance of the caravan.

Is there special alloy wheels for caravans due to the excessive weight of the van as opposed to a car?


Or can I fit normal alloy wheels used for an average car?


I believe a campervan for example a Volkswagen T4/T5 need to have upgraded wheels due to the weight.


Is this the same for an Eriba Caravan?
