Not a Remoska

Personally at the price Remoska 's sell for I never felt the need to buy one ...........however I have been trialling a Quest Stainless Steel Mini Oven over the winter after buying one last year see this topic

Sand and sea trip

I paid 40 quid for mine but they have gone up now

https://www.norwichcamping.co.uk/shop/product/quest-stainless-steel-mini-oven-7506-2023/

I'm not into cooking whole chickens and so on ............. so offer this as a cheaper alternative to a Remoska. it cooks sausages and small pizzas and things like garlic bread.......... will probably cook lots of other things too ...........only problem I found was most cooking instructions say " pre heat oven to" ....... which I compensated for by adding a couple of min to the time

I often live on salads while away or eat out and for me the best way is to cook over an open fire see this topic

Beer and Bangers trip

However for those on a budget who find buying a Remoska a pound or two too far to go it may be useful

Disclaimer, I travel alone apart from a bear who eats sod all but has an IQ higher than mine so find heating things like pie's and garlic bread most beneficial.

Seriously though at 45 quid it is a serious contender as a caravan oven

I tried it very gingerly on a piece of hardboard worried about the heat from the base of it and ended up using it on one of those glass chopping boards but don't think the heat from the base would do any damage ...........it stands nicely on top of the gas burner glass cover.

Sounds a good alternative to a Remoska - and good price - the wattage looks good for caravaning ,even on some low amp continental sites !

That's very interesting. They are everywhere here so I may go that route. Much more affordable. Thanks for the ideas.
