I got all my window bits from Jandi, the plastic locking strip should be long enough. However I bought all new as it was very cheap. In my opinion there is no point in going to the trouble of renewing the rubbers and putting back the old locking strip. When I asked a local caravan engineer they didn't want to do the side window either, they were only interested in doing the opening Windows which are very easy to do.
Have a look at my link which has documents you can print off to help you, the fixed windows are a bit tricky but if you have two pair of hands a bit of patience you will be ok.

Hi.

Just getting around to doing this and have read your guide - excellent btw. Can you specify the exact glazing tool you used please? I haved looked at those sold by seals direct and there are at least 2 types.

Thanks.

Completed this job today - new side opening rubber window seal supplied by Seals Direct - it took me far too long. Rookie mistakes included using raised self tapping screws instead of flat ones, and placing some screws where the little lock seatings should be. My swearbox overflowed towards the end. Anyway, without a coverslip inserter tool also supplied by Seals Direct, I think I would have ran for the hills. Not such an easy job really, but good to get it done. Thanks to Pop320s method btw.

Well done! It's a bit of a tedious job but well worth it. You have saved yourself a small fortune. I got quote for over £700 eight years ago to just replace the easy to do opening windows, he wouldn't even consider the fixed windows..

Going by that price I'm very glad I did it! Thanks again.
