Gunner (new in use word) get my son to help install this stuff. Once I have decided where it needs to go. Hole drilling in shell of van and fix the thingy - Oh dear, then location inside for the booster. Probably near to the telly I guess. Any thoughts?

Sorry Pete I thought I saw somewhere a 200 px limit, will have a go.
If you've got them stored on your computer you can upload them direct from there instead of using a hosting site like addpics.
Use the 'Attach file' button rather than 'Fotos hochladen' (whatever that means) and then follow your nose to wherever you keep them on your computer.
The only photo size limit on here is the 2MB per image one imposed by Xobor, the forum hosting outfit. You can make them smaller than that if you're feeling particularly parsimonious, but there's no need to.
Saving space on their server isn't our concern - we pay them to worry about that kind of thing.

The only problem would be the time that huge pictures would take to download to a forum member's computer if they were using a slow connection, as for example might be the case when using campsite Wi-fi while touring.
In such cases, viewing even the most interesting pictures can become extremely tedious.

All I'm saying really is that there is no reason other than the one you mention to restrict pictures to 200KB. Travelogue photographs in particular suffer as a consequence.
The only other thing is that these days 2MB hardly qualifies as a 'huge' picture, init...
Glad you enjoyed Daisy Bank. You need to go back there, or at least to that area. It's absolutely steeped in all kinds of ancient history.
It was mine and Mrs P's old stomping ground when we was doin' the archaeology, like.

I think it's that barmy fortune teller we saw in Edinburgh.

What if we were to ask people to restrict picture size in general posts but let them use the full allowance in the gallery for those 'special' photographic masterpieces?

Yes, it's lovely round here. Ludlow must once have been a very prosperous town.

That would be in your tent and bucket days?

On a not unrelated issue, I noticed that some of your most excellent (and speedily-downloaded) photographs featured The Feathers Hotel in Ludlow.
Mrs P and I spent the first two nights of our honeymoon there in 1981. It's a lovely place, and quite expensive, as I'm sure you can imagine. We didn't have to pay, but there was a trade-off.
It was the minibus full of Americans (or more specifically Mrs P's parents and relations) who came on our honeymoon with us. It worked out fine though - they paid for everything, and I drove the minibus .
Mrs P sat in the co-pilot's seat looking radiant, something she still manages to do when she isn't puce with rage.
As far as restricting the size of pictures in 'general' posts is concerned, I don't have a problem with that* other than making the suggestion that they be reduced rather than making it a de facto rule, one for which there is no actual need.
It would certainly be a courtesy to those with a slow connection.
I guess it's a matter of applying a bit of common sense - if it's a picture with technical content which might need to be enlarged to be of help to others, for instance, it'd clearly be sensible to make it a reasonable size.
*bearing in mind that it isn't up to me anyway.

Going back to the topic!!!
I have the parts and waiting for son to help/advise/do the installation and still worried about where to dril and fix. I do need help as my thought processes are even more confused, doubtful and unable to make simple decisions.
I guess the indoor TV point should be near where the TV is to be used. I am keen on the front of the bed support near a couple of 3 pin sockets I fitted last year.
The cable will then run inside the units to it's pass through the wall where the exterior connection will be, a major fitting point.
If the aeriel pole is just near the window, I can reach out and turn it, rather than go round the van and fiddle. I aim to try and not have the pole interfering with the exterior locker.
Does this all make sense?

Derek, not sure if it helps or if you have it in your van but mine has what they call precabling which is tv antenna cable built into the van.
It starts in a box on the floor just inside the external locker and the other end is in one of the top rear internal lockers.
Might not be any use to you but just a thought.
looks like this just inside the external locker
