If (not likely) I buy a new release, do I get a Video too? It seems all plays on TV have that to flog them.

Wenn Sie hier auf Links zu eBay klicken und einen Kauf tätigen, kann dies dazu führen, dass diese Website eine Provision erhält.

If you look for what you want on YouTube you can see the video for nothing and rip the audio track for free using this.

Just copy and paste the track's YouTube address into that site and it'll present you with a download link for the mp3 file of the music you're listening to.

Occasionally you'll get one where the audio quality isn't quite up to snuff, but you can't really complain because it doesn't cost anything. The files aren't to audiophile standard, but no self-respecting audiophile would listen to his music on mp3 anyway.

You can go a little way to injecting some of the life and warmth back into mp3 files by playing them through a nice 70's or 80's valve amplifier and a decent pair of speakers fastened to it with proper wires. There are loads of valve amps on Ebay. Most people aren't interested in stuff like that any more. Everybody wants Bluetooth this and wireless that...

Anything else I can help you with?

Gosh, do my eyes deceive me? Am I reading this correctly.

We have three hard up artists in Pepe, Hampshire and Ribski all talking about how to rip off another hard up artist's material for free.

Here.

In particular, the last paragraph:

"Therefore in many cases your opportunity to download YouTube music depends on the country where you live. So you should check with the local laws of your country and your state. But no matter what your law says you should know one simple thing: you can freely download music from YouTube and listen to it wherever you are unless you’re going to distribute or sell it."

And I don't quite see how I'm stealing a crust from a fellow artist's plate by doing this. They might lose out on a tiny amount of money if I downloaded it for free instead of buying it from iTunes or Amazon, but the chances are I wouldn't have bought it anyway.

Not only am I hard up, I'm also a cheapskate.

So there
