Does anyone Know

I have a Reich caravan mover that was quiet in operation when it was new ( three months ago). It now sounds as if it needs oiling or greasing, does any one know if this is possible, or where about's the grease points are.I was expecting to have the mover a bit longer before having to get it serviced as I have only used it once. It was perfect when it left A.L now it sounds like I stood on a cats tail.

Have you checked your tyres/rollers of the mover? The noise might be from stones stuck in the tread or to the rollers that's making the din. Or is it noisy when you wind it out/in?

Why not take it back to AL, if it was new 3 months ago its their problem, and if you touch it the warranty is invalidated.

Can't go back to A.L Dave as I live on the Isle-of-Wight, involves over £100 in ferry fares. At that price could find some one local

This I think is where the noise is coming from, so does anyone know if you can grease them?

Seems that Reich movers are prone to be noisy

Why not call AL and ask them if they have an Isle-of-Wight based service contact, or contact Reich direct and ask them the same question. I'm sure they will have someone nearby who they can refer you to. By their very nature caravaners travel and shouldn't be expected to return to the point of sale for a possible manufacturing fault.

My Honda mower purchased Southampton Feb 2014 has developed a fault and although I have it serviced, it's not by a Honda agent. When I called Honda today, they traced the record of my purchase and told me to take it to my local Honda dealer (Norfolk) where it will be repaired under warranty.

I think I read somewhere that oil is not a good idea as it will trap even more road grime.
