There is a skirt included. They just hadn't fitted it when I took the pictures.

The windows don't open but the whole front unzips to create a canopy effect. To be honest we can't unzip any windows in our Walker awning either and have to remove a whole panel.

We'll be trying it out in France in a few weeks time so hope it lives up to expectations.

Looks very much like my Bologna, would be interested to see how it seals to the walls of the van, my awning has foam covered strips, and if it would stand up to the sort of gusts of wind experienced at the Summer meet. The big interest to me is the speed of erection, (no smutty comments please.)

From their site, it's only on pre-order with a £50 deposit for October 2016 delivery at the moment. Is the price reasonable I wonder, with a discount already of £200 ?

Have you been to France yet? How was the awning?

Yes, I heard about it last week when I rang AL to talk about their porch awning. The salesman (Brian?) went on and on about how fab their new inflatable awning is in comparison to 'frame awnings'. He said they'd have one on display at NEC. The way he went on you'd think that inflatables were going to take over the world! Although the speed of, ahem, putting the darned thing up (phew) is very appealing.

We're off to France end of next week so not had chance to try out the awning yet. We'll report back as soon as possible with our experiences.

Saw the Puck version at the NEC last week. If you ever want to sell it we'll give you what you paid for it anytime!

The photos on the site hardly do it any justice. Think will stick with the Bologna. While in France we had great difficulty in driving in even rock pegs because the ground was so hard (grass pitch) so have just purchased a box of Blue Diamond Heavy Duty Screw in Pegs to try out next time. Hopefully will make pegging out easier than using lump hammer
