Thought this post on the Eribafolk Facebook Page might interest some folk:-

Kampa are looking to borrow an Eriba for a few days next week for a show at the Stoneleigh show ground (Midlands) to display their new awning.

I'm guessing that they'll be looking for a clean, fairly modern Eriba Touring. If you're interested then contact the thread poster directly (and urgently).

it looks like they already have got a volunteer, but its great news that this company will be making bespoke inflatable awnings for the eriba range. Hopefully there wont be a large tunnel to the caravan that you have to support like the camper van awnings...

That volunteer would be us.
We live round the corner from Stoneleigh so will only take a minute to drop the Eriba up to them on Sunday.
I'll see if I can take some pictures to post on here.

Yes please to some photos. Also I would like to know if this awning is going to have a clip in groundsheet rather than a fixed one as more sites are insisting that you don't use one (but its good to have the option).

It would be good to see how it attaches to the van.....

Update.
I took the van up to Stoneleigh this afternoon for the Kampa display. They put the Air awning up in about 10 minutes.
It looks a really good quality awning that slides in the awning rail as normal and seals with flaps that pull against the sides of the van the same as our current Walker awning.
There is no groundsheet so no worries about site rules.

The ground was uneven so should hopefully fit a bit better on a level pitch as there is no adjustment like on a traditional awning. That's probably the only negative.

No pricing has been released yet as they don't go on sale until August.

Yours is on a Troll. Do you know if they are doing a smaller one for a 310/320, or do you think this one would fit?
It looks really good. Never been interested in an awning until I saw this.

They are making 4 different sizes to fit all models of Eriba including Puck so yes they will make one for your Familia.

Thanks for posting the pictures Martin, it looks brilliant. The great thing is you don't need to drill any holes in the van for the roof rails...

Has it got any curtains?

There are no curtains as such. It is like a tent where you have fabric blinds that velcros up.
The awnings should be available by November apparently.

That does look ideal but are they only going to be suitable for the taller Eribas and the older models that are shorter to the rail not suitable. It would be a shame as there are so many older models in circulation than compared to the new models.

Thanks very much for the photots.

I heard about this project back in May when I visited AL, so it's great to see the final product.

What does worry me is that by the look of it none of the windows or panels can be opened to provide ventilation - is that correct? Also no skirt?
