There are a minimum of three things that I cannot understand about our language being misunderstood


1) Why so few understand that it is always 'different FROM'. Not 'different TO', not different 'THAN' - simple rule, different FROM
2) Why so many insist on writing meaningless 'sounds like' phrases especially 'could of' or 'should of'
3) Possessive pronouns and plurals and the use of apostrophe s incorrectly

I am getting old and therefore increasingly intolerant of such grammatical abuses

if things don't change they can stop as they are, you wanna try it ere in France, they all speak strange

Yes, they all have attended the "Stanley Unwin School of Speech and Dramold"

Indeed, the mistaking of singulars for plurals is luckily not one of my beefs
