I have had great work done by John England at Neston Caravan Services, you might have to take the 'van to him. He was (or maybe still is?) a forum member and knows Eribas although I think he now has a Feeling rather than a Troll.
He is a good engineer

I will second the above, he has just rebuilt my BIP unit which was wrongly wired up after leaving A.L Very nice guy very easy to get on with. Very fare in his dealings. I went to him from the Isle of Wight.

Yes, he is a very, very nice man although I've never met him. However he's an Eribafolk member u28_JohnE.html which speaks volumes

Well I have to say that when John added this thread to the forum Mobile Caravan Engineers I tried the guy most local to me and he did a brilliant job.

So much so that he's booked to do both Eribas side by side in the field, next January.

If your van was bought from a British dealer you will need to use an authorised UK Hymer dealer for your service if you want to keep your warranty valid.

If your van is not UK spec or your not bothered about the warranty you could use a mobile engineer

Eribas since 2015 don't need to go to a Hymer dealer, you just need proof of servicing for the warranty. However, the water ingress test does need to be done by a Hymer agent. Confusing, isn't it?

Be careful, I asked Hymer that question early this week and got the reply below:

persoenliche_nachricht: Hi Hymer, please can you advise, I live in the UK and I have a 2015 Eriba Familia, do I have to use an official Hymer dealer for all the servicing to keep the mechanical/damp warranty valid or can I use any Caravan engineer/company? Thanks

Dear Mr.......,

We refer to your request dated 18.11.2016.

You definitely have to go to an authorized Hymer/Eriba dealer for your warranty inspections.

We hope we were able to help you.
