Hi Claire. It's called Herzim strip.
As for yellow, I have noticed a number of yellow striped vans seem to have their strip inside out (see pic) so I'm wondering if its cream or white strip with the concave surface painted or taped in yellow?

Hi Claire. It's called Herzim strip.
Herzim does the same job, but is somewhat thicker and therefore a bit less flexible and not as easy to use as the original stuff.
Herzim colours don't always match the original shades, either.
There are plenty of suppliers of Herzim on Ebay, but if you want the 'proper' stuff, it'll have to come from an Eriba dealer.
And of those, Jandi are by some measure the most helpful and accommodating.

Further to the above I've just taken a pic of the Yellow Striped 1999 Puck L parked up alongside our '99 Troll and it shows what I mean about the yellow strip. On our Troll the black strip is convex out.

Interesting ! Just looked at my 'yellow' Puck L - The top (Gutter) rail and the middle rail are all fitted with the with the strip convex 'out' , however the lower rail on each side ( where the outside table fits on one side ) is fitted the reverse way round ! All the strips are 'original' so it is as fitted at the factory :)

My yellow strip is getting a bit worn in patches. Is it easy to replace? What bits do I have to unscrew etc to put new strip in? Peter

It's a very simple job to do.

Today, an Eriba lady from Switzerland posted a thread on Facebook regarding Yellow Herzim Strip.

She located the yellow strip at http://www.kultcaravans.de/
Interesting method of applying the strip don't you think?
