Eriba breakers/parts advice

Afternoon all, while I pootle about tinkering with the pan I bought over the winter, I will be needing to replace the door inner as one of the brown plastic parts which hold your coffee tins, bottles or whatever else you keep in the door storage is missing and has left 4 holes which are cracked either side of the moulding.... I hope I'm making sense, I could go take a picture but it's like Ice station Zebra out there
I am still scratching my head as to where the bloody 12v wiring is hiding for the internal lights too as I can't spend very long crawling about in/under the van while my back is still on the mend
Still, at least I'm finished Christmas shopping early this year lol

On my 1980 Eriba the lights cable runs down the wall, between the vinyl inside and the aluminum outside skin. Just find where they fit in the light and it runs mostly straight down the wall. They run with the 230v cable on mine. I think someone put the lighting diagram up on this site somewhere. Randa will be able to steer you in the right direction.

Can't find anything but Pepe le Pew or Aaron Calder are normally quite good with electrics.

Meanwhile I've located a 1980's Eriba wiring diagram from Lechlade.

As far as the brown door shelf retainer is concerned, are you referring to these:- g133p1802-Colin-amp-lynn-Wooddude.html

If so brown might be a problem as they changed the colour to dark grey in the mid '90's. Have you tried Jandi (Jean and Sandy)? http://www.eribacaravans.co.uk/ They might be your best bet.

Do you still have the broken one? Many folk have been able to fix their original ones.

As far as caravan breakers are concerned, these people seem to be good and have stocked Eriba parts in the past :- http://www.caravanbreakers.net/

Just re-wired our 92 Eriba Puck 240 / 12volt.

As somebody had wired in three 240v sockets taking the supply off the kitchen light / socket, not a very clever thing to do. 12volt circuit look an absolute mess with bit of insulation tap round this and that, no fusing which I'm sure gave me more grey hairs.

I set about rewiring 240 from the fuse box new sockets in place of butchered extension leads for power points. 12 volt system all rewired with the addition of a SARGENT EC30 DIGITAL CONTROL PANEL all wired through the main junction box under the van.

Feel much better now.

Phillip.

I have the electrical circuit diagrams on PowerPoint for the 1989 Eriba range (in French) if anyone would like them.

Thanks for the replies folks... I managed (against the advice of my back surgeon lol) to get under the van and have a look about
I can see a plastic junction box in the middle of the van which has the wiring for the tow electrics running through it and also what looks like the two 12v feeds for the front and rear internal lights. Also where the gas pipe enters the cupboard and then the heater gas feed exits back out and under the van again, there is a third small hole with nothing covering it. Looking under the van with a light I can see the outline of a cable and the holes left from cable clips. I'm guessing this was the 12v wiring which has been chopped out :(
I was not able to stay under there long enough to figure out how to pop the cover off the junction box but I'm hoping I will be able to run a fused wire into it to feed the lights and then be able to place a battery and fuse box under the sink and utilise the hole already there.....

They are plastic screws in each corner, they are the type which only turn half turn to unlock.

And inside something like this, no idea what most wires do I had it open to swap 2 wires to get the fog and reversing lights working to uk spec ( after swapping the lenses)
