In effect, though, the actual amperage used will be slightly lower in the UK as that which is shown in the table i.e. 3000Watts divided by 230Volts = 13.04Amps (in Europe) but only 3000Watts divided by 240Volts = 12.5Amps in the UK.
The UK has been on a nominal 230v for single phase since 1995.
In the interests of cross-European harmonisation, naturally.
It's only 230v nominal anyway, because there is an accepted supply range of 230 plus or minus a single-figure percentage.
It's not an exact thing.
And besides, once we've left Europe and cross-European harmonisation has become a distant memory, we're going to change our mains voltage to a figure of our own choosing.
319.6v is the favoured option at the moment.
